ADHD Symptoms

There is a simple and quick way to check if you have the symptoms of ADHD. This test is called the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (or ASRS for short). This test is around 90% specific and sensitive (i.e. gets it right about 90% of the time) for identifying if someone has the symptoms of ADHD.

Remember, having the symptoms alone is not sufficient for a diagnosis, please see our diagnosis page for more details.

You can fill in an online ASRS on a number of websites, but the one found at is probably the best. The test can be found here.

You can also print off and fill in the full ASRS test, which is useful when seeing your GP about getting a diagnosis, from many websites.
