ADHDadultUK State of the Nation Survey 2025
Why we run this survey
Every year, ADHDadultUK runs a national survey to better understand what life with ADHD really looks like in the UK.
The data we collect isn’t about numbers for the sake of it — it’s about evidence. Evidence that helps us:
Show what’s working (and what isn’t) in diagnosis and treatment.
Highlight gaps in NHS and workplace support.
Push for fairer access to assessments, medication, and understanding.
Share the real-life experiences of adults, families, and professionals living with ADHD.
When we speak to the media, the NHS, or policymakers, this survey is what helps us say:
“This isn’t just opinion — it’s what thousands of people across the UK are experiencing right now.”
Why your voice matters
ADHD is still misunderstood. Services are patchy. And the daily realities of living with ADHD often go unheard.
By taking part in this survey, you’re helping us:
Build a more accurate national picture of ADHD in adulthood.
Support research, awareness campaigns, and NHS engagement.
Give a voice to people who are waiting for assessment or struggling for support.
Every response adds weight to the argument for better understanding, better care, and better outcomes for people with ADHD.
Who can take part
This survey is open to anyine who has or suspects they have ADHD. No formal diagnosis is necessary.
Anyone aged 18+ living in the UK is welcome.
