There are currently unacceptable waiting times for assessment and diagnosis for adults who think they have ADHD in the UK. For instance, some reports suggesting waiting times as long as 7 years. Additionally, some local areas ration a limited number of adults to be referred each year, to keep numbers down. We believe there are moral, health-based and economic cases for investment by the NHS into adults ADHD services. Sadly, this will not happen without pressure from charities, those with influence and the general public and so we would like you to contact your MP.
